Tragic Bike Crash in Cardiff: Two Teenagers Killed, Officer Investigated

Two boys, Kyrees Sullivan (16) and Harvey Evans (15), tragically lost their lives in an electric bike crash in Cardiff on May 22nd. The incident occurred on Snowden Road in Ely shortly after 6 PM and has sent shockwaves through the community.

Investigation and Arrests

A police officer driving a van is currently under investigation for dangerous driving in connection with the crash. The Independent Office for Police Conduct (IOPC) is overseeing the probe into the officer's actions.

The fatal crash sparked widespread unrest and rioting in the Ely area. Property was damaged and vehicles were set alight in the aftermath of the tragedy. Nine individuals have been arrested for allegedly participating in the riot.
